Interactive 3D Animations of LOFAR Lightning Observations

Description

The AVL collaborated with astronomy researchers from the Netherlands to develop a workflow to share cutting-edge lightning observations on an interactive 3D web platform. Data captured with the LOFAR radio telescope were visualized with the ParaView application, then uploaded to Sketchfab to be shared with the public. It shared the Best Interact! award at the PEARC22 conference.
